We always say if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.
But we also know it’s important to not rest on our laurels. Somewhere in the middle of these two sayings, came the decision to refresh the Broome Park B&B appearance.
Our lovely farmhouse, which hosts the B&B rooms, has now been open to guests since 2005. Over the past 17 years, we have welcomed guests from all over the world, hearing the most wonderful stories about their travels and experiences, with many returning time and again.
One thing which hasn’t changed over these years is what you can expect from us - a warm welcome, a plate of homemade goodies, a cup of tea, a comfy bed and a delicious farmhouse breakfast.
We remain the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, to relax and recharge.
Covid struck and we found ourselves with some time to really think about what we wanted the future years of the B&B to look like. The core and heart of Broome Park will always be to offer guests a taste of our country life in a beautiful location, a comfortable, home from home experience, an enjoyable stay. Our ethos hasn’t changed, but we looked at our branding and felt we wanted to modernise and revive it.
We went back to our foundations and revisited exactly why we decided to open our home and the farm to guests. We came up with phrases that we felt summarise Broome Park B&B such as beautiful environment, bespoke service, excellent quality from start to finish, friendly and approachable, warm, welcoming, passionate about the local area, the countryside and farming.
From here, we created a mood board of all the colours, fonts and images that inspired us and that we felt drawn to and related these back to the foundations. Then the final refining happened, and the new designs were created.
